Receiving Truck Dock Upgrades

JBW Consulting Engineers provided professional services for the upgrades to a loading dock at a facility in Minong. The project involved modifying the existing loading dock to facilitate trailer passthrough into the building, improve drainage, and adjust the dock elevation. The work included demolishing existing dock walls, installing new steel lintel and jamb reinforcing, and adding a new door and drain system. The project required significant site grading and drainage improvements, as well as the lowering and reinstallation of concrete to correct the dock elevation.

JBW provided detailed construction drawings and specifications, including general arrangements, site grading plans, demolition drawings, plumbing details, and structural framing plans. The team coordinated closely with the construction company to ensure a seamless transition from design to construction, delivering a comprehensive set of documents certified by a Professional Engineer.
