Industrial Ventilation & Dust Collection

At JBW, we design, analyze, and fix industrial ventilation and dust collection conveying systems to address flow inefficiencies, material buildup, facility ventilation, odor, and combustible dust hazards while ensuring compliance with NFPA and OSHA standards. We optimize system performance using advanced flow analysis and CFD modeling based on material characteristics like particle size, moisture, density, and explosibility. Our specialty is complex systems that are integrated into your process.

For existing, we utilize equipment specs and legacy drawings coupled with our laser scanning to capture existing conditions as a baseline. We then explore options of integrating new equipment in a virtual environment to maximize efficiency.

We design and optimize material conveying systems for industries like mining, agriculture, and manufacturing, addressing challenges such as material plugging, inconsistent flow, and equipment downtime. Using DEM and FEA analysis, we tailor solutions based on material characteristics to enhance system performance and reliability. Our expertise includes most all types of conveying, including belt conveyors, screw/auger conveyors, drag conveyors, puck conveyors, pneumatic conveying, and more. We integrate this conveying equipment into the process seamlessly.

Using pipe stress analysis, flow analysis, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), we optimize performance, troubleshoot inefficiencies, and enhance system reliability.

We provide engineering services for heat and energy systems, including boilers fueled by natural gas, biomass, coal, oil, and waste-derived fuels. Our team designs and upgrades boiler systems to improve performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance across industries such as refining, wood products, food processing, waste-to-energy, and more. Whether steam or hot water, we integrate heat exchangers, steam piping, and environmental cleaning devices like scrubbers and baghouses to create safe, efficient, and code-compliant systems. All designs are developed in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
