QQQ Compliance Project

JBW Consulting Engineers assisted one of our refinery clients with the design and implementation of vapor sealing equipment on roughly 253 different sewer openings across the entirety of one of their facilities in Sinclair, Wyoming. These vapor sealing modifications all required custom design considerations to ensure compliance with Part QQQ requirements. JBW supported this project by coordinating the work while taking measurements, completing engineering calculations, and delivering final engineered drawings. As the project progressed, more complicated applications were discovered involving modifications necessary in the process piping and electrical/controls equipment, which JBW also assisted in designing the modifications for. Overall, we were able to provide the client with a full scope of services including mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering/design, as well as an on-site inspection and timely construction administration support.
