Aircraft Oven Design

JBW Consulting Engineers assisted a local engineering firm with the conceptual design of an aircraft curing oven to be used in a small-aircraft manufacturing facility. JBW engineered a 3-piece steel substructure to accommodate a complex custom glued fitment curing oven which was required to streamline the facilities production processes. JBW worked within tight design constraints for size, weight, usability, and most impactfully portability. Due to constantly changing production floor flows the client required that the curing oven system be able to be torn down and re-built within 3 working days. JBW finalized the conceptual design while working with the facility and other firm to help determine a cost estimate and lead time.
