Ash Mixer Upgrade
Project Summary
Our power plant client needed a better way to load out their ash byproduct. Metering was inconsistent, and the operation proved to be messy and problematic. JBW designed a system that integrated a new wet pug mill with ventilation.
The primary challenge was getting the new larger, heavier equipment to fit and be supported by the existing building. Utilizing 3D point clouds taken on site by our team, the JBW mechanical team verified correct placement for fitment of equipment and utilities, while our structural team reinforced the load out building significantly. The project was a huge success saving our client money and leading to less downtime and dust!
