Requirements

Minimum Requirements

●  BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

●  Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, and structural analysis software

●  PE license preferred.

JBW Consulting Engineers is a consulting engineering firm with locations in Duluth/Hermantown, MN and Gillette, WY that provides design and engineering services for clients in the industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors across North America. Our work consists of mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering, design, and analysis for industrial, energy, and infrastructure systems. Responsibilities

Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations

●  Adhere to the core values of Relationships, Communication, Solutions, Technical Proficiency, Quality, and Responsiveness as defined by JBW.
●  Must have an entrepreneurial attitude and be willing to tackle different tasks as they arise.
●  Provide Structural Engineering duties related to industrial facilities. These duties vary by project and current workload.
●  Must be willing to work in daily collaboration with other JBW team members, and a variety of industrial clients.
●  Perform site visits safely that range from 1-5 days, sometimes requiring travel (all expenses included). Travel is expected to be less than 10% annually but can vary in the short term based on project needs.
●  Perform field verifications, identify and organize gathered field information.
●  Work in CAD software including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software.
●  Complete drawings, calculations, equipment selection, and analysis accurately while following JBW’s quality control methods.
●  Build new and maintain existing relationships with clients, vendors, and external resources.
