● Facility, Process, and Equipment Evaluation – JBW has team members with extensive knowledge and specialties in combustible dust hazards with the ability to analyze the hazards present in your facility.
Responsibilities
Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations
● Perform site visits safely that range from 1-5 days, sometimes requiring travel (all expenses included). Travel is expected to be less than 20% annually but can vary in the short term based on project needs.
● Work in CAD software including but not limited to Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
● Complete drawings, calculations, and analyses accurately while following JBW’s quality control methods.
● Build new and maintain existing relationships with clients, vendors, and external resources.
● Work with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and facilitate a comprehensive solution to projects.
● Adhere to the core values of Relationships, Communication, Solutions, Technical Proficiency, Quality, and Responsiveness as defined by JBW.
● Must have an positive attitude and be willing to tackle different tasks as they arise.
● Provide Civil and Structural Engineering duties related to industrial facilities. These duties vary by project and current workload.
● Must have the ability to work on tasks with little to no supervision.
● Must be willing to work in daily collaboration with other JBW team members.

● Assist with defining clear goals for all aspects of a project and develop steps for their proper execution.
● Assist with detailed specifications.
● Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges.
● Maintain a billable rate. Items that would not be considered billable are IT, safety, and other marketing/BD related items. This is not a hard rule and at times unbillable tasks will prevent it. Use your best judgement and know that our viability as a company depends on us being as billable as we can while not ignoring the non-billable items that need to be accomplished.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
● BS Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
● Motivated, eager to learn, and high attention to detail.
● Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
● Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
● Ability to work in a team environment.
● Problem solving ability in a fast-paced environment.
