JBW Consulting Engineers is a consulting engineering firm with locations in Duluth/Hermantown, MN and Gillette, WY that provides design and engineering services for clients in the industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors across North America. Our vision as a company is to do projects we enjoy and can do well, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Our work consists of mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering, design, and analysis for industrial, energy, and infrastructure systems. Most of JBW’s projects involve Piping and Pumping Systems, Material Processing and Handling Systems, and Industrial Ventilation/Dust collection systems.

As our next team member, you will have an entrepreneurial attitude and be excited to come to work every day to help build our firm. You must fit our culture of service through empathy with facility managers and engineers; this requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide quality, timely work.

This particular opportunity is unique in that it has the potential to turn into as much as the applicant wants it to. We are looking for a candidate in the Rocky Mountain region, ideally near a decently sized airport, or in our existing Gillette, WY office. We would want this individual to be able to handle projects and clients relatively quickly and have an interest in growing with our existing clients and potentially making in-roads with new clients. Structural, mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering or design background and degree would be suitable with relevant experience.

Ideally, this candidate has spent about 4 years working as an EIT, has or is ready to take their PE and is ready to take the next step in their career. Or, this candidate could be a more senior person that has experience in the relevant industries looking for a change and some more opportunity to grow a presence for JBW in the Rocky Mountain region.
