Shake Line project
Project Summary
JBW Consulting Engineers provided mechanical system engineering and design support for the installation of two new lap lines at a client facility. The project included the design of several critical support systems, such as dust collection, compressed air, water and sewer for waste stations, fire water, natural gas, stack exhaust, and fan exhaust layouts.
Additionally, JBW ensured that the systems met the necessary mechanical code requirements, including provisions for make-up air if required. The designs were detailed to the extent necessary to enable contractors to provide adjustments made based on time constraints and the availability of information. JBW was granted site access for surveys and relied on the availability of equipment and system information to complete the project.
