Discharge Conveyer

Project Summary

One of our wood product clients reached out to JBW, as they were undergoing a major green end expansion. Part of the expansion project included a new building that would be erected in the same space that the current bark discharge conveyor was located. JBW was hired to provide options for relocating the bark discharge area.

Part of the strategy that JBW provided was adding two conveyors to discharge the bark approximately 300 feet from the existing location. The work included general arrangements with column/support locations and section views as necessary. In addition to this, JBW’s scope included a site visit, mechanical engineering and design, structural engineering and design as well as electrical engineering and design.
